Hello Justine,

You have a great site here. You don’t know me. I am friends with both your mom and dad from back in college. We had fun back then. Our friends called your dad Amboy and me Amgirl because we couldn’t speak Tagalog that well and if we tried it was funny to hear us speak. Bet you didn’t know that.

I can see from your picture that you are strong and brave. I too received blood some 41 years ago although I didn’t have the same illness as you. I was born with Jaundice. That is a diseased condition of the liver due to presence of bile pigments in the blood. In other words I had poop in my blood. Yuck! I didn’t know that…I had to look that up. My dad said I had yellowish eyes, yellow skin and yellow body fluids. I was placed in a incubator. Sorry to be so graphic.

I can rate this an R if you want. Oppps to late, ha ha ha. I’m just telling you that if I can do this so can you. Just stay strong and be the fighter that you are. Everybody is rooting for you. And so am I. If anyone can kick this nuisance of a cancer it’s you. Just have faith. I’ll be praying for you. Get Well and God Bless.

Though I don’t personal know Justine, I heard about her through a friend on Facebook. I wanted to let you know I’ve made an appointment to donate platelets for Justine this Saturday, September 19. I know I have a great platelet count (have donated to the Red Cross a few times in the past) but I’m hoping my iron level is high enough to donate. Keep me in you thoughts and prayers!!
