He plays softball with my husband Cory and he is also my step-daughter Cayla's batting coach. You may have had a chance to look at my nephew's website, Evan. He is also fighting leukemia right now and is usually at UCLA medical center. I come from a large family and we have all been very involved with Evan's fight. We are a big sponsor of the "Light the Night" walk, "Team Evan." We will be there again this year and hopefully we can partner up with you and your team (if you don't have a team yet, please let me know and we will get one started for you). I hear you are an amazing soccer player. I too played soccer growing up (I think it added up to 16 years). I love the sport and still would love to coach someday. I was hoping to coach my step-daughter, but she decided to take up softball and volleyball (not really my area of expertise) :) LOL! When Cory and I have kids of our own I will be getting them into soccer and hopefully coaching them. When you are better and back on the field I would love to come watch you play. I will be at Children's Hospital on May 2nd donating platelets. I will get in touch with your dad and if you will be there then I will come by and say hello. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
